Sometimes the biggest problem is in your head. You've got to believe you can play a shot instead of wondering where the next bad shot is coming from - Jack Nicklaus

Summit offers a diverse range of development solutions at all organisational levels. These are designed specifically to meet identified needs and, working in collaboration with the client, we deliver tailored programmes which support business, team and individual needs.

Our latest offering is SAS : Short and Sharp

Recognising the unrelenting time pressures at all levels, Summit now delivers a series of short, sharp participative workshops. These workshops last no more than two hours and are delivered by experienced professionals for maximum impact in the shortest time frame.

As the name implies, we come in, do the job and leave. The benefits to the organisation is that development is delivered in "bitesize" chunks taking participants away from the workplace for only very limited time. For individuals, it means that development can be accessed without moving away from the workplace, the delivery is punchy, fun and participative with minimum fuss and paperwork.

All SAS workshops comprise content and limited theory, case study exercies and questionnaires. Each participant leaves with a small folder and a credit card sized memory link to the key issues covered.

The workshops cover all the areas listed below (and any others, as required) and run with a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 20 participants and all at a time to suit your organisational and time requirements whether it be breakfast (8am - 10am) twilight (5.30pm-7.30pm) or all times in between.

  • Using facilitation and accelerated learning techniques, all participants are guided through a learning experience that is robust, participative and ultimately gives personal ownership to the learner.
  • These programmes can "stand alone" or become part of a structured development programme, which is generally delivered in one/two day modultes with a suitable gap in between for reflection and practical application back at work.
  • This approach is extremely successful as it allows clients a flexible approach to participant needs and organisational requirements.
  • They can also be delivered via the ILM (Institute of Leadership & Management) route which enables participants to gain a recognised management qualification (Levels 2-7)
